Masjid Louis Meehan - A Sadaqah Jariyah in His Memory

At just 32 years old, our beloved brother Louis Meehan returned to Allah. Louis was a young father, a husband, a brother and a son. His passing has left a deep absence in the lives of his family, his friends and all those who knew and loved him. In his memory, we are raising funds to build Masjid Louis Meehan — a lasting Sadaqah Jariyah that we pray will continue to benefit him for generations to come. A masjid is more than a building. It is a place where people will stand before Allah in prayer, where Qur’an will be recited and taught, where children will learn their deen, and where a community will gather in the remembrance of Allah. Louis’ life may have ended far sooner than anyone expected, but through this masjid, we pray that his scale of good deeds continues to grow. We invite his family, friends, community and anyone wishing to contribute towards something lasting to help us establish this masjid in his name. May Allah forgive our brother Louis, shower him with His mercy, illuminate and expand his grave, grant strength and patience to his loved ones, and make every act of worship performed in this masjid an ongoing source of reward for him.
